Hydra Filter systems do not include lids, PVC piping, or biological medium.

An added benefit of the Hydra Systems is their Versatility.

Even though the majority of people using Hydra Systems are relying on the three chamber design, it is not the only option. As a matter of fact, an added benefit of the Hydra Systems is their versatility. Single, upward or downward flowing chambers can be used independently or in conjunction with existing filtration systems to offer clean water without you having to completely replace your system. A sunken pump feeds water to the single chamber in either an upward or downward motion, depending on your preference. Since the Hydra single chamber filters are pump operated they don't need to be buried. The water going back into the pond is gravity fed so no other pump is required.
