Breeder: Taniguchi Description Details Taniguchi Winter Growout At 14cm Tosai are too young to be sexed....enter the Taniguchi Winter Growout held at Taniguchi Farm in Hiroshima. Koi specially selected by Youichi Taniguchi can be purchased and boarded with the breeder until April when it will be possible to determine their sex. Koi determined to be female will then be eligible to be boarded in Taniguchi's mud ponds for the summer growing season. This presents the opportunity to acquire and growout a high quality koi for a fraction of the cost of a Jumbo Tosai or a Nisai and for those of us who live in colder climates, this is a great way to enjoy koi during the winter while getting a jump on the coming spring season. Last year many of the 13cm koi that we purchased in November grew to over 30cm by April. Those that were the boarded through the summer grew to 50cm and more. Terms *Purchase price of your koi includes boarding fees until April 2016. *All other expenses are for buyer's account. *Pan Intercorp will arrange for shipping upon request.
